Bed Bandits on Display at NWACUHO
Hello, fellow Bandits! Paul
here with exciting news.
On February 8-10, the Northwest Association of College & University Housing Officers (NWACUHO)
convened for their annual conference in Salem, Oregon. The NWACUHO Annual Conference brings together housing officers from the Pacific Northwest and beyond. And for the first time, Bed Bandits was proudly on-hand as an exhibitor. This was our first conference of any
kind, and we are happy to report it was a tremendous success!
Patrick and Bianca, as NWACUHO gets set to begin.
We quickly learned that being the “new kids on the block” had its perks: even while we were just getting set up, fellow exhibitors and NWACUHO staff members were dropping by our booth, telling us we’ve been a hot topic of conversation leading up to the conference. People were instantly intrigued and wanted to know—what is a Bed Bandit? As you can imagine, were we excited to tell them.
For the better part of three days, we had the opportunity to share our story and what drives Bed Bandits with representatives of colleges and universities, whose values reflect our passion for social justice and community engagement. Our commitment to donate one mattress topper for every three sold
seemed to stand out to nearly everyone.
Patrick and Bianca share the Bed Bandits story with a NWACUHO attendee.
Overall, it was a great first conference for us. We gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and met fascinating individuals that left us invigorated and eager to work even harder on this crazy adventure of ours. On behalf of the entire Bed Bandits team, we’d like to extend our deepest appreciation to everyone involved with the NWACUHO Annual Conference. We thank you for sharing your encouragement, questions, feedback, and kind words.
We look forward to introducing Bed Bandits to more people and continue bringing a better night’s sleep to everyone.
Friendly visitors included.
Take care and dream big.
